"VIDA is a non-profit organization that provides medical, dental, and veterinary care in developing countries. VIDA’s mission is to improve quality of life in underprivileged communities while providing a life-changing experience for its participating volunteers.

VIDA UofA is a student-led group that offers undergraduate students the opportunity to embark on a mission to Central America (Guatemala, Nicaragua, or Costa Rica) to provide care to communities while gaining hands-on experience in medical, dental, and veterinary fields.

VIDA UofA prides itself in its fundraising in order to provide these communities with a qualified team of medical professionals, support staff, medical equipment, medication, and dedicated volunteers."
