The University of Alberta Mixed Chorus and Handbells are now recruiting! Join us in our 72nd year of singing and ringing. The University of Alberta Mixed Chorus is open to all students, faculty, staff and any other residents of the community. No previous choral experience is required! As one of the oldest clubs on campus, our organization is rich in history and tradition. It's a special year for us, since our conductor, Dr. Robert deFrece, has been leading the chorus for 30 years, and the University of Alberta Faculty of Education Handbell Ringers for 26 years. Concert material typically ranges from renaissance to Broadway. With the help of assistant conductor Adam Robertson, this year is guaranteed to be full of beautiful music.
