Seasoned Paddler? Never been in a kayak before? Come join our club! The UAPC lets you develop and maintain your paddling skills right here on campus! The U of A Paddling Club has been on campus since 1975 promoting whitewater kayaking. Our club caters to paddlers of all ability levels with the goal of promoting paddling sports for all members. Paddlers of all skill levels are welcome to practices and games. The ability to roll is handy but not necessary. Sessions are held in the East Pool at the Van Vliet Center. Other activities that our club participates in are Wavepool sessions at WEM waterpark. This gives us a chance to paddle in moving water and learn to surf the waves!
