Health and Wellness Movement
We, the Health and Wellness Movement, aim to steer campus towards healthier eating, better stress management and ultimately healthier living. A number of student-driven initiatives are continuously being spearheaded. These include weekly free fitness classes, positive self-image campaigns, drop-in yoga classes organized between classes, and de-stressing events such as our monthly paint nights. We also organize a campus-wide Health Week in March and have chaired several Amazing Races where students put their UAlberta savvy to the test. We are reaching out in hopes of sparking interest in issues regarding health and raising awareness for wellness among the campus community. Got an idea that can make our campus healthier?
