"Play Around the World (PAW) is a service learning course offered by the Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation.

The program selects and prepares U of A students for a 3 month placement in either Asia (Cambodia or Thailand) or Canada (Fort Providence, Northwest Territories). PAW offers students an opportunity to develop a sense of global awareness and citizenry, through collaboration with various schools, orphanages, community based organizations and government agencies to deliver, play, recreation, physical activity and sport to children and youth of all abilities. Students broaden their world view as they live, learn, and work in a culture different from their own."
